The top one is closer to me, but is a bit more expensive. Got a few light scratches, chips and swirls that I would like to get rid of.
Its either this or purchase a DA and get machine polishing them out myself! biggrin

DIY is the way forward.

Polisher from toolstation £40. Polish pads £4 each.

Then get some decent polish and away you go.

Recently done my black 205 GTI and it came up a treat!

Get your own gear, learn how to use it, and do a few mates cars for a nominal charge! I covered the cost of all my gear doing other peoples cars. Plus I still have plenty left to use on my own cars. Check out clean your car they where really good for stuff when I was doing lots of it.

Yes, I've used Valet Magic [Robbie] a few years ago & would recommend him. He's definitely one of the OCD types which is what you want to look for in a detailer smile

Haha. No we use a bucket, household broom and plain cold water. On £30 BMW's!!

As it goes I would love to give them a proper going over.

Well £30k when new. 09 330d touring with 113k on the clock and a 59 saloon with 99k.

They used to get replace at 82k. Now no chance.
