Car-less for a week or two..

The Clio has gone off to a new home, The Impreza remains perpetually 'pending', the OH is having her car back to take our 3 year old to nursery (it'll be a tearful time on Monday) and I'm pondering what to get, company car or something else. I'm happy to pay to use a vehicle if you have something gathering moss that I could use for a couple of weeks. I have trade insurance that covers the car fully comp on anything and thankfully the company pay for the fuel. Please PM me if you have any ideas!
Here is the thing, 99% of all journeys will be just me, to various places around the country. Three or four times a month the car will have the family onboard so having five doors is fairly useful but not essential. I like the idea of the car being more comfortable than the Clio, not exactly hard, I drove it for work purposes up until about 2009 and am quite sure that I am partially deaf because of it! The good thing about this though was that when work took you somewhere interesting like across the Yorkshire Moors or into Wales, you are in a car that can be fun. Cruising up the motorway in hushed quietness is nice but then I worry about kicking myself when somewhere nice, the fuel is paid for, but the company diesel doesn't really want to play. For that reason I wanted to take a bit longer than normal choosing something. Hiring cars is actually pretty cheap so I will probably end up in a Fiesta or something for a couple of weeks. I was looking at a low mileage 3L Jag, hold me back! By the way, first day at nursery was very drama filled, tears and tantrums and that was just me

You could have used the Astra but is on eBay and the auction ends tonight.
If you want you can borrow the MR2 ..... That would be plus 100 lad points for borrowing a stripped / caged bright yellow MR2 track car.
