Our Boxster had a very good sound system when we bought it but we had it uprated with a new head unit and fitted a handsfree kit. I don't know exactly what went on but by the sound of the new head unit and third hand info it sounds like the company that did the work disconnected the amp and main sound system so we've just got the amp that's built into the head unit which is weak and, quite frankly, crap.

I need someone near here who can sort this. Recommendations???

Speak to Steve at SCR he knows his stuff. But basically Factory amps can be hard to integrate with but Steve will know a solution. I vote stick a new amp in makes a world of difference,
