Hi Guys,

Just replaced the clocks on my girlfriends' 2001 Polo. Subsequently the mileage is now 50,000 miles lower than before. I want to have the correct milage rather than trying to work out service / cambelt intervals.

Has anyone got a recommmendation for a local (Camberley etc) person / company that can do this for me.

Cheers

Tim

On the way to Blackbush from J4a at the roundabout just befor the A30 if I remember there is an advert for mileage adjustment

I should be going over that way Tuesday, I'll have a look

That's a neatly placed ad for all the high milers bought from the local auction house, if you follow my drift

When I went to Blackbushe recently they were even less subtle - leaving stacks of business cards in the toilets (no, not those sorts of business cards, ones for 'mileage adjustment').

OP, you must be one of the few people who wants to increase the mileage on the odometer. hehe

We had that problem with an X-Type Jaguar

The speedo etc was changed, then when services were required getting the garage to do the correct one
Also when something needed changing under Warrentee tring to get them to understand why the mileage info didn't tally
