I've got a Carrera Kracken which is a great bike but I need someone decent to look after it and fix/service it occassionally. Can anyone recommend anyone local to me (Frimley/Camberley area)?

A friend of a friend works in a local bike shop.. they also do private work at significantly cheaper rates! You'd need to bring the bike over to Reading though.. so maybe not ideal. Drop me a message if you want their details.

Cyclezone near the station in Crowthorne are also very good. The guys there all seem to be enthusiasts and know what they are doing.

Went past there last week and it had closing down signs on the windows. Alot of half price bikes.
There is a new bike shop opening a few doors down, whether they are the same poeple or not i don't know.

Another shout for Mountain Trax.

A friend of mine worked there for years up until recently and always spoke very highly of their practices there.

Why have I never seen this place? I live just down the road in Finchampstead and never new it was there! I even deliberately drove past it yesterday on my way home from work, looked out for it and still didn't see anything!!!
Is it where the antiques shop used to be?

Almost, its the other side of the road from the antiques place, little non-descript enterance to what looks like a farm yard - sharp right and you will be facing them. Great bunch of guys and easy to kill an hour drooling over the stock!

Look out for a small mountain trax sign on the fence post. Leave your wallet at home smile they did a service on my bike last year and all faults were sorted and seemed nicer to ride afterwards biggrin

AHA! Spotted it on the way home from the gym last night! biggrin
It's not exactly obvious and not where you'd expect any sort of shop to be...

According to a mate, one of the owners had left that shop, and gone it alone (taking his customers).
