Thanks to GrahamJ for uploading it. The 56k connection was playing up so i msn'd it across to Graham and he uploaded it with his broadband. Bingo
Sorry about the .mov format. Download Quicktime from Apple.com and you'll be fine. I've checked it on a Windows Quicktime and it works fine so no complaining!
Enjoy

Hate to be a killjoy, but seeing as the Cherry Tree is right in the middle of a 30 in a sleepy little village between two junctions - both of which are fairly blind, the 'hooning' was a bit out of order?
Now I'm not against a little tail-out action (as you've seen in the past) but take for example the chap with the S. He runs a bit wide, then probably scares the two old dodders coming the other way witless.
We've enough blanket 30's round our way as it is without encouraging them to put up more.
Sorry to moan, but have a thought for the residents eh?

If you had people tearing about outside your house - wouldn't you Ed?
Don't mean to sound like a 'nanny', but you of all people should see my point knowing what people are like round our way?

naturally I quite agree. One has to be careful when treating oneself to that moment's madness in the car. Agree the S's departure may not have been timed perfectly. Btw the few people that came to look brought no frowns, but smiles.
Was hoping you'd join us CJ
Ed
Like I said, I don't want to sound like a killjoy, but a bit of consideration and all that. Not least of which, it doesn't look good for PH if it happens a lot.
One wouldn't want such meetings turning into an high-profile 'crooze' would one?

I do agree with you, (I was in the S)
yes in hindsight a more appropriate departure was called for

Glad you got my efforts of bangin' the exhaust as I left.. sounds very different to being in the car.

Ed,
I was just about to turn off the camcorder when i heard the popping so left it going. Glad i did now. Sounds tasty!
We did have a few residents come across and chat about the cars. One couple wanted to see some TVRs and were very impressed with the Ultima. It was really great to be able to share them outside of the Pistonheads group.
Stig - the driving was a bit enthusiastic but there were about 4/5 of us on the road checking for cars... kinda didn't work for the yellow S but then the drivers coming this way were out of the way... it looks a LOT worse on film than it did on the night.
A great meet overall... nice one chaps
