I spotted a dark blue 996 C4S last summer in Reading, A33 heading towards M4. Kojak light and everything! Driver wearing Police uniform.

A senior fire officer for the Reading area drives a Porsche 996 c4s. When there is a major incident he attends and has a removable blue light on the roof. TVP do not use any Porsches.

Ah, I've heard about this guy. Think he used to have an E39 M5.

I have seen this car and read many threads about it. I seriously doubt that it is a TVP car. It may be a TV copper on his way to a job though.

In any case, I don't think we need to worry about being pulled for speeding by a C4S. Just get out the way of it - he's probably got somewhere to be.

As I said it's not a Police car and no it has never stopped anyone either!! Oh and I've sold it 'cos it was a nightmare.M5 was brilliant though- wish the E60 was as good!

I saw a white Subaru Imprezza STi that I assume was an unmarked police car on the A4 headed from Heathrow to London.

He was at the lights on the opposite side of the road to me when a police car came flying across the junction with the Blues and Twos in full swing followed by a police van. The Subaru then went through the red lights pulled a sharp right hand U-turn and then stuck his foot down passing both the police car and the police van.

Either a nutter taking the piss or an officer getting to a scene alot quicker than everyone else!
