So. Much. Pressure.

I'll do it this time... Simes will be pleased there are no boats before next weekend biggrin

I do not, however, have any interesting cars on the drive!

Clio V6 is in paint (which is slow due to COVID issues)... Pugs are still rotting on the drive, etc, etc.

I'll live vicariously through you lot. Or buy something. That Pulsar on the home page looks AWESOME!

Dammit it - was hoping you'd forgotten wink

Boxing coach got COVID and then 3 of us all tested negative but had every symptom... Weird! (had COVID and 2 jabs).

Add in a work restructuring that is ongoing (but coming to the end) and it just dropped down the priorities - apologies!

However, I did see many rows of Porsches there the other night, which has reinvigorated me!

I box most nights buuuuuuut... I'd take a night off for you, handsome!

Porsche meet the other night? st, how did I miss that?

You don't take time out to rest? Ok, this will be put in the Health section if we're not careful.

Rest is for wimps! Only kidding! I drink aggressively on nights I don't box 😲

All jokes aside... I do hate work! And I pretty much can't remember owning a V6 at this point! Been away at SG Motorsport for months! Should probably call 'em at some point!

I just know that if I don't rest, I don't perform as well.

Haha, maybe it's time to buy a cheap fun toy until you get your baby back.

Or finish one of the two Peugeots on my drive...

You're starting to sound like my missus!

There is a Pug 306 maxi on eBay that looks like a good project!

What happened to summer? It just never came this year! Maybe an evening is best?!

She's a keeper then. Normally, it's "sell your toys and get a sensible family car" isn't it?

Yeah, summer had a couple of short spurts of heat then it's been crap.

She's just about ok with me owning too many (5) cars considering there is only a single garage that is full of 'workshop'... but She'd like 'her drive' back and the Pugs on the road biggrin

We just never got those long, balmy summer evenings that would have been ideal to stare at cars. Very frustrating! Still, the Porsche guys seemed to have a hell of a turn out? What would that have been? A PCGB Surrey chapter thing or...?

I've no idea. I tried to search last night. There's no mention of anything this month. The last one was in July. The next one is in October.

Maybe some Insta/Facebook thing then...? Need to try and infiltrate them and find out what they're doing to drum up support!

Have clearly not been pulling my finger out! Work has been more than a little crazy + boxing + life, etc.

Anyway, there is an "Oxshott Supercar Meet" coming up on April 3rd 2022:

Worth starting a new thread? Any interest?

Went to the last one, as a couple of other PHers did (5SRN, Trax, etc) - was a nice morning at a nice pub!

I had to find this thread again as I'd personally really like another event this year at the Fairmile with fellow PHers.

I don't even know if it's still doable there but, either way, hello you lot!

I went there years ago, all car clubs were welcomed. Cost a fiver with all you can eat BBQ. Was a bloody good meet and well organised.

It's always been a pretty cool venue for meet ups, I remember the vintage tin nights and some marque-specific gatherings being absolutely heaving and really well managed. Hopefully there's interest in revisiting this place over the summer months!
