NJ/NYC 'kin weather

Most days I love living in NJ but today is not one of them...
Up at 5.00am to spend 90 minutes digging driveway out. Too early to use snowblower so shovel it, pulse through the roof and drenched in sweat, clear backyard a bit so dogs can go out.
Arrive at office at 7.30am to find parking lot not plowed
Nothing else to do but practice handbrake turns for half an hour
Now waiting on deli to deliver breakfast.
And breathe.........
Yep pretty awful also near Boston. Got to tiny little regional airport at 6:30 only to be told the pilot of company shuttle has called ahead to cancel until the afternoon.
Nice that in this day and age he'd also remembered to email or phone the contact details of all the passengers
Taxi ride back to the office was like being a co-driver in a stage of the Swedish Rally. Driving one handed inputtting the address into the GPS with the other and no sensitivity for throttle or brakes. I almost kissed the tarmac upon my safe arrival at the office
Still two coffees in I ahve found a spare desk and it's nice blue skies now.
