Which one do you dealers tend to use and why? Preference for information supplied or cost?

We've used both in the past but they're very expensive compared to UK HPI and when most of the cars we get offered have hidden US history it can work out expensive given how many cars we are asked to price compared to the number we actually end up buying.

What's your thoughts.

Carfax is usually more detailed than Experian/Autocheck. I have seen Autocheck reports come back with no problems for a car and then the carfax to come back with crash history and odometer errors.

Can't comment on Experian but ued cafax to check over a Porsche I bought over the internet. Report was prompt, thorough and accurate.

I would not hesitate to reommend them.
