I just like to clarify something with you guys if thats ok. Ive got the luxuary of having dual citizenship, as my mother is English and my dad is American. This means i have both a UK passport and a USA one. I can tell you it makes getting through customs alot easier, as i just use whichever passport of the country im in.

Now i was born in the uk, so technically im a UK citizen, but im pretty sure since ive got duel citezenship with america, it means i can go over there and work without having to faf around with visa's, work permits etc.

Also if i was to do this, im sure theres a few more things to worry about appart from just turning up over there and getting work, like SS number etc am i right?

Ta in advance for the help biggrin

You have a US Passport so therefore you are a US citizen, no ifs, ands or anything else.

I would have a chat with the US consulate about moving to the US - they represent you after all.

You will need to get a social security number which is no big deal, the big problem right now is getting work in an unfavourable climate. But good research will help you figure out where is best to live, based on climate, pay, prospects & the host of other intangibles.

A year ago I was being recruited 2-4 times per month. I got a job offer tod, yesterday. Granted I wasn't looking very hard, but that took nearly 6 months.
