I know people get asked for their advice here all the time so thought I would ask aswell lol
I'm wanting to fly to Miami next year and then drive to California VIA Orlando, Jacksonville, Georgia, South Carolina, West Virgina, Chicago, Missouri, Oklahoma, Dallas, New Mexico, Utah, Las Vegas, Los Angeles.
Just random route I got from picking names off a map on Google. Please feel free to add/delete places that are pointless going to/must see! Would 1 month be enough time to do this comfortably? I'm not going to be spending more then 1 or 2 nights in a single place either.

Looks like an easy 5,000 miles of driving if not more and a chore to really do this in a month. That's London to Rome and back, twice.
What time of year are you planning to go? Much of the winter months can make travel tricky in many parts of the country, especially in the mountains..
Sounds like you want to spend a month and see America... If I may suggest....
Rent something big and comfortable, it MUST have Satellite Radio.
Start in Miami, see Ft Lauderdale, West Palm Beach. 4 days. Drive 2.5 hours north from W Palm to Orlando. 2 days. From Orlando, I would swing 7 hours north to Atlanta for a 2 days, then 3-4 hours to Nashville for 2 days. From Nashville I would drive to Louisville, KY for the day and then hit Indianapolis for the day and then drive the 3 hours to Chicago and spend 3 days there.
You're now probably 17 days in.
Leave Chicago, spend a day in St Louis, Missouri.
Past St Louis things start getting very spread out and far from each other, assuming you gave yourself a month, or 31 days, you've now got less than 2 weeks to cover close to 2,000 miles.
I'd suggest either doing one half of the country or the other, or deciding which cities you really want to see.
If it were me, I'd either cover the southern half or the northern, or just the midwest and south. What kills you out west is things like "Wow, St Louis was nice, let's go see Denver next!" It's a 900 mile drive, 500 miles of it through what can only be called deolate areas.. think population densities lower than the Scottish Highlands.. after you leave Topeka, the biggest city between there and Denver has 25,000 people... in a span of about 550 miles...
