'd like to take a road trip from San francisco to Grand canyon and then fly out from phoenix, but one way rentals seem a bit expensive, any recommendations in terms of companies, budget are looking favourite so far

Hi,

I've recommended them several times carhireagency.com are always very good and did a one way rental for me a couple of years ago from Las Vegas to San Fran with no extra charge.

Roo. recommended carhireagency.com to me on here - I booked through them for the end of August - pick up in LA and drop off in Vegas, they were alot cheaper than everyone else I tried.

When I spoke to them on the phone they were offering a free upgrade to the next class on all their rentals, but I don't know if this has finished now.

I would definitely give them a try.

Am doing something similar in early November...San Francisco > Vegas then fly out of Vegas for a touch and go from Vegas to LA before home

So will check out www.carhireagency.com

Any suggestions for SF would be appreciated

Yeah. Wear something warm.

Seriously though, you have to do Alcatraz. Book the audio tour and make sure you do it before you go.
