I rented one of these a couple of weeks ago and quite enjoyed it - it certainly made a change from the usual hyundai rental car( or the truly horrid chevy cobalt I had this weekend)

I have found a couple of nicely priced/specced chargers & magnums in the local dealers, and I am tempted, I am wondering about reliability etc and so if anyone's run on of these and can feed back experiences I'd be grateful. The models i have found tend to be the more potent of the V6's and I have found a couple with AWD, which may be helpful as I drive on/in snow for most of the winter. Although I have heard that the traction control or whatever they call it is pretty effective,

Any tips gratefully received

cheers

I don't own one but one of my buddies do, so far its been problem free for him and for the price, a bargain. I believe there were a few production issues with the early models, pretty rare though, so maybe look for a 07 or a new one. Dodge is trying to shift cars, so some of the new models will come with pretty impressive deals.

As for AWD, I heard somewhere that the steering suffers, plus the added weight and extra fuel economey, I would stick with the cheaper rear wheel drive model.
