me and the mrs are planning on moving there in around 2 years time, i could really do with some advise on property / jobs.

i'm in whistler the whole summer, i'll be looking into your questions, i'll report back in september! This is the 3rd year on the trot i'll be out there, vancouver is such an awesome city (the only city foreign city thats ever really impressed me!), and whistler is my own personal disneyland. One thing i have gathered though, is that the houses in vancouver itself are expensive. However, in north vancouver, richmond, and surrey i have a feeling housing is cheaper. Alternatively, get yourself a plot of land up on the way to squamish (what i'd wanna do).

As for jobs, that the tricky one, i'm trying to work out how to get my green card. I'm hoping to do my truck tests before getting out there, but i'm possibly still a bit young, and trucking ain't for everyone...
