Looking for a decent radar detector and laser jammer as driving like a nutter on a regular basis in Houston without one could be a bit expensive in speeding tickets.

Was thinking about the Escort SR7/SRX which looks like a decent all round bet, but the Blinder M40 Laser Jammer seems to be more effective at the laser side of things.

Anyone have any experience of these?

Combine your blinder with a Valentine 1 and you're good to go.

(slightly poorer though!!)

I vote for a Valentine One! But they are $$$$!

Another vote for Valentine 1 - I am not that up on laser blinders, from what I have read just turning your headlights on high beam will interfere with laser, but not certain.

You occasionally find used V-1's on Ebay and similar. Although honestly the thing offers good value for $399.

V1s on eBay bring new V1 money.... V1 is the gold standard, period.

Having owned a few laser guns over the years, including LTI's & Prolaser's SLD 920 was the most reliable without a doubt.

Having owned an LTI, Prolaser II & a few other laser speed measuremnt devices I can assure you the right ones do! Some of the rubbish sold obviously does'nt but a Snooper SLD 920 certainly is very effective & the most effective by a very, very large margin over several of the other ones that work occasionally or which are not that effective 100% of the time.
