This might sound like a stupid question...

but do Ferrari's (or something like it) cost more in the USA than they would in europe??

because i live in a fairly rich town and i live by a multi millionaire county

but the most expensive car i've ever ACTUALY seen is a bently (not sure which specific bently it was, i was on the bus and we drove by too fast)

i've really only seen 2 ferrari's in my life, and they were both the (by ferrari terms) the "cheapy" kind (pretty sure they were either F430's or 360 spyders)

corvette's\vipers are pretty common placee though (a shi*load of mustangs though)

i'm just wondering because i'd really like to see one on the road

A lot of European cars sold in the US are about the same as we can get them for in Europe... usually they're quite a bit cheaper than you'd pay for them in the UK.

That changes a bit when you start talking about exotica. The list price is pretty similar, but from what I've heard the dealers over there then like to stick a much bigger dealership mark-up on.

I don't know whether you could try and get around that by trying other dealerships, maybe even in other states.

Not at all......in Blighty we pay £70K for anew Jag XK and you guys pay what equates to just £38K, and we pay £65K for a Porsche 911 carrera S when you guys pay equivelant to £45K.
