Tracks in Texas?

Anybody know any tracks that you can take your own car to anywhere in Texas (preferably near Houston)? Or failing that, any tracks where they run trackdays of any kind....getting v.bored driving on Texas roads, avoiding potholes and cops!

Texas Motor Speedway, up by College Station (approx 1 - 1-1/2 hours north west).

They have regular track days, especially through owner's clubs.

I'd also recommend anywhere well out of the way up in the hill country.

Texas World Speedway in College Station, Tx. (south side of C.S. on highway 6)
Motor Sport Ranch, Cresson, Tx. (south west of Fort Worth on 377)
Motor Sport Ranch, Houston, Tx. (south of Houston on 288)
The latter two are more geared to individual users than TWS and the Cresson location has better rates.
Look up their websites for schedules and Driver training class schedules.
