Car Shows/Events/Museums around Houston?

Hi all,

Looks like I'm near Houston for a week or so next week (approximately). Seeing as I will miss at least one autosolo I had planned, I might see if I can make up for it with a car event or visit to somewhere interesting nearby to get my automotive fix. my travel dates are not fixed yet, so I might be able to adapt them to accommodate.

Anyone know of anything good in the area? Any size but interesting car meets, racing or places to visit.

I have done some of the other touristy things, but open to any suggestions.

Summit Series Bracket Racing on the dragstrip at Royal Purple Raceway this weekend with the TX2K18 Roll & Race Nationals the weekend after. There's an outlaw no prep drag race event at Houston Motorsports Park on Sat 17th.
