Hi

I'm staying just outside Seattle for 5 days in early October and l.ooking to take in some sights with my wife in our hire car - we are there as part of a retirement holiday.

The area obviously has many attaractions which we simply won't have the time to check out' so I'm asking what would you consider to be the best to look at?

were you a fan of Twin Peaks ?

not far and worth a visit even if its just for coffee and damn fine apple pie. Mar-T-Cafe is still there.

Seattle is gorgeous - pike market and the needle.

Exotics at Redmond is a must see, along with Griots Garage coffee and gasoline in Tacoma. You need to drive in the Olympic Peninsula, amazing.

5 days is way to short lol.....

id have done seattle driven through to Port Angeles and ferry to Victoria afternoon tea at the Empress then up to Nanimo and over to Horseshoe - follow the sea to sky hwy up through squamish to whislter and then back down through vancouver and back to seattle.

Quite a taste of the west coast. it really is a wonderful part of the world.

your staying right in the middle of twin peaks territory. Say hi to Agent Cooper for me lol
