I am in UK, having just returned from a holiday in LA. Plan to move to Canada next year and maybe to USA a few years after that. I realise that is where the future lies.
Anyway, there is a site www.meetup.com where you can meet like- minded people. I used it during my temporary stay in Toronto in 2011
