Ice Hockey Tickets Vancouver - Jan 2014

Hi Guys,

I'm booked for a 3 week holiday to Canada in January 2014 and would like to try and get to an Ice Hockey match whilst I'm there. I understand the Canucks are the big local team in Vancouver. When does the season begin and when are the fixtures announced? I don't have to see the Canucks but would like to go to a largish game for the atmosphere.

Where is good to keep an eye out for tickets also? The Canucks website or ticketmaster type places?

Go straight to the team box office for tickets and the schedule should be out by mid Autumn. Not sure they sell out at home that often compared to Toronto or Edmonton which are both hockey mad.
