Winnipeg - Porsche 993 Turbo with Ruf conversion.
Discussion
Has anyone ever actually seen this car? Is it a scam of some kind?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160956879930?ssPageName=...
It's been available for sale for quite a while via another 2 or 3 sites. By way of example:
http://www.collectioncar.com/detailed.php?ad=13995...
What I did notice is that if I search for the car on ebay.com (not ebay.co.uk), it doesn't list? Why would someone in Winnipeg list a car and not make it available to those in North America?
If it looks too good to be true then usually it is!

Well, it has a manitoba licence plate, and the pic looks alot like winnipeg, probably taken in the spring, so its been for sale for a while. A pal of mine had a regular 993 in the same colour in the 'peg, but this isnt the one
heres a discussion about it from 2011: http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/993-turbo-fo...

Maybe he just doesn't want to get involved shipping to the USA, I would imagine there is a tangle of paperwork around that and it would be simpler for a north american buyer to drive it over the border himself and deal with his own import/export duties.
It may be a simpler process if an overseas buyer wants it shipped - the seller probably just drives it to the airport or railroad station, with the buyer doing all the hard work.
It is an odd car to see in Winnipeg, its quite a blue collar city - you would be more likely to see a plymouth superbee
Disclaimer: I'm not an expert in import and export of cars to canada: disclamer
