September road trip?

I'd love to go to Florida for my honeymoon in September, but hurricane season is putting me off especially as I'd like to rent a Harley for a week while we're there...

From what I've gathered, we will get wet most days, and the missus isn't going to like that!

Any other road trip suggestions?? (already done LA to San Fran!)

The wet season is starting to tail-off by mid September. Don't get too hung-up on hurricane threat either. They are infrequent, usually less impactful inland and are usually no more than 24 hour events. Not quite as likely, but you could also worry about being hit by an asteroid.
