Kent Run - Sunday 22nd May 2011

*** New Start Point ***

Following the success of the last Kent Run, we will be running another on Sunday 22nd May 2011.

This run will start in Sevenoaks and finish in Ashford. It's restricted to 20 cars and split into 2 packs.. We currently have 2 leaders, it would be great if we could have a 3rd leader as backup.

Instructions and TomTom satnav files will be available for attendees at the start point only, so get there early to get your satnav files.

The route will run for c130 miles taking in some of Kents finest.. There will be 1 fuel stop along the route:
BP @ 105 miles

Arrive 5.10am for instructions and TomTom satnav files, ready for a sharp departure at 5.30am

Yes, I'll bring the laptop again like I did on the last run..

I'll email files to people I trust prior to the event though.. And more than happy to include you sir..

I'm picking the Exige up this morning. The suspension damping should now have been set to a slightly more compliant setting - more 'fast road / track' as opposed to 'smooth track'. Should be a bit less of a handful on any pock marked B-roads / unclassifieds we encounter.

Spose I should have expected that response

Don't worry I wont be asking for any route files or anything like that, I just never really understood why it was an issue to keep them under wraps before!

Its actually just after one of my exams and the next one is a fair lick away, so, maybe, work permitting etc I could make it, give myself a bit of a break.

Is it a problem if I confirm later towards the date?

Am I still welcome?

Of course your welcome mate.. only having a bit of banter..

If you want to come then you need to add your self to the list.. at the moment, the run is being restricted to 20 cars.. and places are going fast.. so if you can commit, then put you name down..

I think I might leave myself off for the moment as I cant commit fully until closer to the date when I can see how the land lies with work etc, I wouldn't want to take up a space when someone else might be able to commit now.

Just going to chance it I think and hope that if I can make it, there will be a spare space... that and the new p+j will all be run in by then and ready for a workout!
