The 8 Ball Diner Grand Opening - Saturday 19th Feb

Evening all,

Further to the excitement surrounding the new 8 Ball Diner and the possibility of hosting some of the Essex PH meets there (credit to Mattt for finding and organising) it has been noted that the diner are hosting a Grand Opening this Saturday (19th February).

I for one am looking at popping down for a nose as I welcome the prospect of a local Ace Cafe style dinner in Essex. The diner is open 8am till midnight.

I only have a pass for Saturday unfortunately.

I was hoping to pop down during the day on Saturday however driving the Tiv in the rain is no fun. I am going to hold out for Saturday evening as you say in hope that it dries out a bit as I would like to be outside doing some tyre kicking and having a look at the cars rather than stuck inside.

I shall play it by ear but will post here if I do decide to venture out.

I popped along around midday today.
Not much of interest in the car park, but I put that down to the shocking weather !

Looks promising there though, and they serve good coffee !

Matt,if you decide to go,although forcast says 'drizzle',put a shout on here,its only up the road from me,I could see you there providing its dry(ish)
