M25 shut!!!

I've seen on the traffic news that the M25 is shut both ways around Dartford due to a police incident and according to the Highways Agency it's not due to re-open until 6pm!!!

Anyone got any idea what the problem is (apart from serious!!)?

I have been told by a friend who lives in Dartford that a person has hung their self of the pedestrian foot bridge.

Glad I'm working in town today... It would have took me ages to get home otherwise!

According to BBC.. all lanes have reopened

Just manged to miss this today and benefited from the electronic signs on the approach. Went the long way round to Guildford and back. Really quite good under the circumstances.
