**** Essex PH Meet 16th December ******
Discussion
When I posted the last PH meet it started "Its a great day outside ....."
Well its definately not this time. Like most us we have about 12" of snow and more on the way. However not withstanding the weather if at all possible the next PH meet will be on Thursday 16th December.
The good news is the Audi with 4WD is excellent in the snow and for all those with a there will be no excuses !!. We had multiple power cuts last time so who knows what the next meet might hold for us.
So why not come and see us at the Lodge at South Woodham Ferrers have a chat with a few like minded car enthusiasts. Always the third Thursday in the month. There is good quality economically priced food and plenty of parking space. The link below provides directions. There are generally folks there from about 7:15pm.

I've been waiting at least 2 years for a glimpse!
I shall be bringing my brand new Eco Focus - the one with 3,500 miles on the clock that has broken down twice. It saves the planet by not actually driving anywhere and being trailered around.
Meanwhile the reliable TVR rests in the garage.

It rare to hear words TVR and reliable in the same sentence I shall be bringing my brand new Eco Focus - the one with 3,500 miles on the clock that has broken down twice. It saves the planet by not actually driving anywhere and being trailered around.
Meanwhile the reliable TVR rests in the garage.
The majestic Rover 416GSi.
In 14 years of ownership and 85k miles (on top of the 38k it came with), it has troubled the AA only three times
- once was due to the idiotic bravery of the owner
- once was due to the ignorance of the owner
- once because the ECU gave up the ghost
14 years of making the neighbours jealous.
14 years of driving pleasure.
14 years of proudly saying 'Yes thats my Rover 416GSi'
They should start making them again - sourcing velour these days may be a bit tricky but where there's a will there's a way

Righto, I'm definitely free tomorrow night so will get myself along to this in my Jap supercar (Micra, It's got a PH sticker which as we all know gives it an extra 100bhp). Do people tend to get food from this place or is it just a pint and some banter?
Last time most of us got some nosh.BTW it'll be a short one for me tonight have to pick up a GoKart in Chelmsford at 8:30
