Medway area has just put a silver 10 plate Jaguar on it's fleet. What's that likely to be
£35-36,000

Should help boost morale for all the police staff facing the chop. Words like Lead and Balloon spring to mind.

Police don't pay anything like retail for vehicles.

BMW and Jag want a slice of the police market and sell them very cheaply.

It was on the news. Meridian. They announced it.

£23,000 paid, likely to recoup about £12,000 on resale in 18 months. Will work out cheaper to run than the BMW and volvo traffic cars. It's an un-marked traffic car.

I heard Central Motorway Police Group are having a lot of "in service" issues with theirs. They got 6, I think, yet I've never seen one on the road when driving through.
