Pest Control in or near Billericay
Discussion
There's a load of scratching going on in the roof of our single storey extension (tacked onto the side of the house). The extension is a couple of years old and has got that foam backed plasterboard as a ceiling.
An ominous damp patch has now emerged on the ceiling...
My thinking is that there is mice up there and they have nested in the foam by burrowing it out. They are now happily using it as a toilet as its a bit chilly to go outside...
I was going to get a builder in but thinking about it a pest controller should be able to lift a couple of slates and see what is going on.
Any ideas?

Never mind...
Spoke to these people, very helpful and hold huge stocks of poison...

You need a nesting box in the wall that allows access to the problem area.
This picture was taken at my cousins’ place. The mice disappeared when their mum moved in.
That's a great picture - we've got a couple of cats (big old farm boys) who have nailed mice and the odd rat in the 2 years that we have had them but I can't get them up in this bit of roof. This picture was taken at my cousins’ place. The mice disappeared when their mum moved in.
The Pest Controller - took one look at the droppings, went back to the van & came back with bigger traps... them's ain't mices!
