Having just read the Cupra thread, thought I'd mention some more - not seen the Cupra, will keep an eye out.
I have, however, been pulled by the light blue Volvo S60. It tailed me from junc 8 - junc 10, a route I do a lot. Averaging 87.5mph getting up to 100mph according to him, but I backed off a few seconds before he could get a decent reading apparently.
First thing I knew was when I was I noticed the volvo following me closely up the slip road at junction 10. As many of you will know, it's a 4 lane round about. It was busy, and I don't think he knew where could stop me, so just pulled along side and gave me some stern words. It worked too!
I blame my S2000, damn faded plastic rear screen. I've been aware of the volvo for some time too!! I've now replaced the S2000 with a Mondeo ST155 Tdci
A couple of others, both seen on the M20 weekend just gone. A black BMW E60 and, a Gunmetal Golf R32!!
Remember folks, keep 'em peeled!

Wandering up the A1 near Alconbury the other week, in the
usual light doze, doing a bit of machine minding,
mainly listening to Radio 4, I spot a purple Lambo
in the rear view mirror.
I rarely get overtaken, but I did this time.
He gets a bit overkeen and gets up to about 100-110 mph.
Nothing at all for that stretch of road. I'd be happy
doing 150 mph down there. Four lanes each way, plenty
of room.
A few miles later, he's parked on the hard shoulder
with an unmarked Audi in attendance.
No one killed, no one injured and he gets his day in court
to explain himself.

Drive the M25 everyday at the moment and have seen an undercover Orange Focus ST pulling people over a few times.
Plate is CF58 *** (or something like that)
Keep your eye out!
IIRC the Orange Focus ST is a Surrey Police Car working out of Godstone. I do a lot of the M25 (all of it) on regular a basis and it's mainly always on the surrey section I'll see the old bill.Plate is CF58 *** (or something like that)

I was at Gatwick airport the other day and on the exit of the M23 slip road they had an Audi A4 unmarked, 10 minutes later it had been rpleced by an unmarked BMW 3 series, 20 minutes later a marked Ford Focus! I'm guessing this is due to the latest terror alerts

When they pull people over they ususally have the blue lights going (where ever they've been hidden), so it usually gives the game away. Or sometimes you can spot the blue lights anyway and other times they put uniformed officers in the cars.
Also extra aerials and interior or exterior mirrors as per the blue Volvo. Spotting these made me ease my progress one day on the M20.bernhund said:
Does anyone know what the 'black rat' sticker is all about? You do occassionally see one on the back of a car. I was told years ago, it was to do with the boys in blue. Like retired officers or unmarked cars or something.
We get them as part of a police charity, money goes to widows and children etc. I have on my car and will apply one to the rear of my wifes car soon.Gassing Station | Kent & Essex | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
