Anyone else going? http://pistonheads.com/xforums/topic.asp?h=0&f...

I'll probably leave Boreham services around 7am.

I'm not sure I'm going to go - it's a long way for a park and chat!

Was up at Silverstone early this am - left Maldon at 7.30 and arrived just before 9.15. Roads lovely and quiet - agreed it's a long way, but looks like there could be some awesome motors there! 7.30 meet make it any better?!

Yep, still planning to go - my car is still up at PARR and won't be ready before next week which is a shame but least I get to go in Batman's new toy! Think AdamD is still coming.

I've been recommended to go the A507 - shorter distance, slightly longer, but a good drive rather than 50mph SPEC Motorway tedium.

He reckons 1.5 hours on a Sat AM - so a 7:30 depart from Boreham still gets us there in plenty of time.

Looks a decent route smile

Boreham meet up would work for me.

That route looks a lot better than M25 tedium.

I'll see you guys there and stick to the M25 to Silverstone as it's a route I do most days

Yeah I'll be at boreham in the lorry park for 7:30.

A12-M25-M1-A43 is looking simplistic and favourable to me.

I'll be there with (other) Matt as my passenger - I think we're still going the scenic way - either A507 or via A43 Aylesbury - both good roads.

Can't be bothered to drive hundreds of miles on a motorway for a static meet - possibly one of the last dry days of the year, take advantage!
