anybody know of any good tyre places that will get me a new pair of fronts as well as sort the tracking out (front left seems to be too worn and slight pull to the left under braking) for a reasonable price in the medway area...

last time i had the tracking done i was charged £45 for the privelege, and i honestly don't think they touched it at all...

Just had to have one of my cars done. Swapped wheels front to back, balanced all four and tracking sorted out for £50ish.

Had it done at STS tyres in Rainham.

seems reasonable enough to me... last time used F1 autocentres in Rochester, not a pleasant experience...

heard good things about them before... and another place on the medway city estate.... think its opposite McDonalds but cant remember the name...

how much will they charge me to sort the tracking/allignment typically (front left wheel appears to be the problem so hopefully just the fronts need doing)...

The place your thinking of is RM Tyres, 99 times out of 100 they are the cheapest, but they only supply and fit tyres, no tracking.
If you don't mind going down Bluebell Hill to Maidatone I would recommend Boxley Tyres, very friendly family run business.

RM would be my choice, used them since I moved to Medway which was 13+ years ago. Phil & Barry are great.

Another vote for RM tyres, used to work next door and always used them. Bit of a drive now, but if I was local I'd definately still use them.

cheers guys looks like its gonna be RMs for the tyres and just pop in to somewhere for the tracking...

on a slight side note what tyres would you recommend... putting two fronts on an s60 t5 so looking at something half decent but cant justify spending much more than 100 quid for the pair...

Not sure about the Volvo but my Jag is on Falken 452s very good apart from when it is very cold when they take an age to heat up.
