Looking for mechanic to work on 205 Mi16

Hi,
Had a bit of a nightmare with my car at the moment; spent a load of cash getting it fixed then 2 days later the water pump went. Now I'm skint and I cant really afford to tow it half way across the country to the normal garage I would normally take it to, I'm looking for someone local who knows what they're doing. I tried a local garage and they told me that they would need to take the whole engine out and charge 10 hours labour as theres not enough room to work on it! It should only be 2-3 hours from what I'm told....
I already have the parts waiting for fitting, I am in Dartford so anywhere in Kent/Essex or SE London would be ideal!
