Reputable Garage in Southend

Please help me out. I need a reputable garage in the Southend area for my mark 4 Golf gti.

I need work done on a reoccuring engine management issue, and a replacement wing mirror.

I'm looking for somewhere that won't take the piss on price, especially when a female walks in !

Well its a shame you cant make it to chelmsford,reason being is that Sarni Motor's in Boreham,just by the Chelmsford Bootsale Entrance, is a Vw/Audi Specialist,they have all diagnostic equipment on Vagcom(genuine vw diagnostics),labour charge is very very reasonable(pm me for hourly rate)
My son works there,and they have looked after my Passat and Fezza for years now.Damm good family run business.
Most of broomfield hospital staff go there through my recommendation, and they also supply a loan car if needed.

Sounds exactly what I'm looking for, but I don't want to risk more damage to engine by driving it that far, plus I commute (train) to London so I need somewhere local or I'd have to take day off work to get car too and from garage.

I'll definately remember that one for it's service though! Cheers!

When I had my Bora I used a company called German Engineering in Leigh-on-sea, The garage is at 1091 London Road so not to far from Southend, could be worth a call.
