Well, who do you reckon. I must admit I'm torn between Nick (SELMWK) and Pauline (Mid Essex).

Pauline has produced (AFAIK) the best attended monthly meet (at least 40-50 cars, even in January ) and despite constant stick from the odd member (V8 Archie, etc. you know who you are) consistently manages to enthuse a vast array of people (and she has a very nice cat-suit too apparently ).

Nick has, from what I've heard, transformed the SELNWK meets since he took over as RO and turned the region into one of the most active in the South East in an amazingly short time. By the time I joined the club the Sunday meets were attracting upwards of 40 cars, and the car park may be a tad small for the coming summer .

I'm not sure which of the two should have my vote(ideally they'd get the first to years between them) but I'm a Mid-Essex boy, so I'm tending towards Pauline for the first one (no offence Nick, you will be next).

What do you think?

Yeh - well 'ard!

I'd like to vote for Mum (Hi //P// ). Is this voted on at the end of the year at TVRCC AGM?

Must admit, I know where Archie is coming from on this... Nick is a great RO and I thoroughly enjoy pootling off to Kent to join in their activities and meets.

However, in this first instance I will be voting for our very own Pauline... if it wasn't for her Mid-Essex wouldn't be half as fun...

Along with everyone who turns up, she has made owning a TVR a way of life... and for that fact alone I will be casting my vote in her direction.

Well, I am from Kent...I saw Pauline et al at the AGM. For my part though, Nick has done wonders down Kent/SE London way even getting folks like myself involved!

I think I know which way I'll swing

Hi Guys.........

Nice thought V8 Archie, but this thread, whilst complimenting both Nick and myself could be a tad embarrassing for us....I'm sure Nick would agree.

He's a good mate too............so

I'm sure you'll understand.

I have to agree with Pauline, its great that people take note of the work we put into making your weekends such fun, but we are not here to compete.

There are lots of RO's all over the country who put lots of hours into making their regions work well.

If you like whats happening in your region, vote your RO back into office when the time comes, or better still offer to help every now & again..it will be much appreciated.

Thanks again for the support & the votes of confidence.

Nick
