Kent Car Club - Sunday 6th June

The next club event organised by myself will take place on Sunday 6th June.

So here are the details as they stand at the moment:

Date: Sunday 6th June
Start Time: 10:00am
End Time: 1:30pm
Start Location: M20 – Junction 8
End Location: Pilot Inn, Lydd

This event will be of a brisk pace taking in some of the best roads Kent has to offer and I hope there is a good turn out!

p.s would be much better with an early start, roads will be to busy for my liking.

Copy and paste fail from last event - date in post updated

Starting a little later than usual as the pace will be brisk but not a full-on hoon. The main idea is to get some people out to have a fun drive and to socialise at each end of the event and anyone is welcome to attend.

The roads we're using may well have some traffic however it is not something that should hinder enjoyment for this event.

Hope that helps clear up things ^_^

The last few events have had anywhere between 12-24 cars in attendance so they are well attended and enjoyable gatherings.

Each time I organise one of these events I like to change the times so they appeal to different people so we get a nice mix of cars and ages. Please don't let the mid-morning start put you off as it should be an enjoyable event for all who attend.

I have a feeling I'll get stuck behind traffic at that time compared to the early morning run last time however I will give it a bash. I've junked the air con out of the car, the rear seats too and the battery has been moved to the boot since the last one I did.

You picked some fantastic roads last time so looking forward to once again, might get some heat in the tyres this time, it was pretty cold before!

I'll try and get my friend along in his Lotus Elise, will add him to the list if he says yes.

M-ster - more the merrier. I've been blown away by a certain Toyota Aygo so I'm not going to say anything about the capabilities of you or your car. That experience certainly put me in my place

Huggs - it would be great if you're able to come along. This event will be a bit more pedestrian than March 7th but still an enjoyable route and drive.
