Saturday 24 April - Kent Car Club Meet

This event will start at 6pm with a view to having a relaxed gathering in the (hopefully) warm spring weather. After half hour of banter and photographs at the meeting place, we will then go for an enjoyable cruise down to Leeds castle for a scenic sunset photo shoot for all our club members.

Sunset is at 20:12.

The end location is yet to be decided however if there are suggestions they will be greatly appreciated - as it will be night time, ideas for where we can go for our usual pub lunch should be as near to Leeds Castle car park as possible. As far as I am aware the restaurant there closes at 4:30pm so is not a viable option for us.

Although there will be a 1-2 hour drive between the starting location and end location, this event should be seen as a social event to allow members to gather, appreciate each others vehicles and take some high quality photos worth sharing amongst one-another.

There will be video recordings & photographs taken during this event for posting on the Kent Car Club website and is also the purpose of the driving element. The roads to be used will be mostly dual carriageways so we can get some drive-by photos etc... at sensible speeds.

Count me in on this one. Any excuse to get the camera out ! Some sunset photos will look great, if I can figure out how my camera works!! Plus I will have my own car by then so Mrs' TT can stay at home. Nice one Gazzado

Tempted but by the looks of it most of the cars will be smaller more agile generally very quick. Quick i can do bends i dont, would like to go but curios is this a chilled out cruise or a opptunity for people to race.....

The main thing for this event is for photographs and the drive will not be high paced so we can get some good passing shots, this is not a typical ph-style 'hoon'.

Looking at your profile, you might be better suited to joining up with the club and coming to our stand at the BHP show. I'll email you more details on this.

@10speeduk It will be good to see you again, any ideas what your new car is going to be (I'm sure you do, but are you ready to reveal ??).

I should have read your first post better! I will try to meet you there. I'll give my car a bit of a wash this time so if that white NSX turns up again he will be put in the shade

Considering the great roads you picked for last time out the drive should be still fun, even if is is at a cruise pace to enjoy the early Kent spring rays.

You're welcome to bring either vehicle, the club is for Japanese and performance vehicles and I'm pretty sure a Tuscan is a performance vehicle

I'd actually like to see one up close and in the flesh myself!
