It didn't look right in the rear view mirror so I let it past and the two BiB in flack jackets gave it away!

Yep, they are armed Police that patrol Maidstone. I was stopped by them back in January.

Not very specific but I went past a Mazda MPV the other day on the A249 a bit faster than I should and he turned on his blue lights in the grille and alternating flashing headlights.

I did think maybe it was someone being a joker, but I thought that's a risky game to play so I assume they genuinely were BiB.

To their credit they just stared at me (couldn't tell 100% if they were BiB as it was dark) when I'd slowed down then drove off, leaving me very relieved!

I was going down Blue Bell Hill tonight and a Black unmarked Seat Leon was attending to a crashed Jaguar XK which lost it just before the Shell Garage going down hill, the car looked a right mess but the driver seemed to be OK.

Saw 3 unmarked cars at Clacket Lane today both doing Mach 3 outside lane ACW. 2 BMW 3 Series, a grey/gunmetal one & a black 'un. Also a small Peugeot panel van, the Berlingo size one. All unmarked blue strobes in the grill.
