Hi guys, following the brilliant success of our last event in January where 21 cars turned out, we are holding another event on Sunday 7th March.

Now the special twist this time is that it will be a dawn run and will be something for the true petrol heads to enjoy. This means we will be leaving at 6:30am sharp, no hanging around for stragglers!

The main 'con' is having to get up early, but the benefits far outweigh this, including smoother driving, clearer roads and more enjoyment.

So the details are:

Date: Sunday 7th March
Start Time: 6:30am
End Time: 9:30am
Meeting Location: Start Location: M20 Services at Junction 8 (Maidstone)
Ending Location: Oakdene Cafe - Junction 3 of M20

If you are interested in attending, please post here to let us know.

Be aware that we will be making good progress and driving to the road conditions. The 3 hour route will take you through a variety of roads including 2 of the best that the region has on offer, ending with a breakfast at the Oakdene Cafe.

There are two £25 gift vouchers up for grabs to the best presented cars who's photos will be placed on the Kent Car Club website after the event.

I'd like to put emphesis on the fact that we will be leaving at 6:30am! Please arrive before the starting time otherwise you stand a chance of being left behind. Ideally 6:15am to be on the safe side!

Hi guys

I have been to a ph sunday service and was wondering if its different on coming to a meet like this

Do I have to be a member of the kent car club etc.

Could anyone put me in the right direction seeing as most of the
Sunday services are up north and would prefer meets down here in kent

Thanks

I've not been to a Sunday Service before but for this humble event all you need to do is copy the list above and put your name down as an attendee.

If you find at a later date you are unable to come along, please remember to take your name off the list again.

It's as simple as that.

Of course it would be nice for you to post and be active on the car club website, but the only time this is a requirement is if you win 'Best Presented Car' - you need to be a member to claim your prize (£25 gift voucher).

Up north??
November - BMW in Bracknell
December - Merdeces Benz at Brooklands
The Sunday Service is a mainly static meet where people gather to chat and there is some additional attraction laid on.

The KCC meets are quite different. As they say in the car ad - "It's all about the drive!"

Due to the roads we're looking to use this time around there will be less unclassified and more of the A/B variety. This means there will be a lot less pot holes in general as hopefully the better driven roads will have been repaired after the winter frost.

Thanks for showing an interest guys and for those who are not sure if they are able to attend yet, I hope you do and that your able to come along for the morning.
