Hi chaps,

I live near Dartford and I have started to feel the pressure from her in doors regarding buying a new car- maybe a Boxster S.

I want to keep my track car, and my 200sx- plus our daily E90 3 series BMW.

Can anyone reconmend decent units? I visited a chap in Essex, who basically rented an old P&O container which was wide enough to get a car in, plus several engines.

Any suggestions?

I have Googled it:

Just a basic farmers field, with a locked gate and storage unit will suffice. I may end buy a trailer for the track car!

It will be damp though! Changing temperature will cause condensation, so you need some kind of water absorber, like the canisters you get with permabag (available from them too I think) and put in the oven to recharge (dry out). You can also get other types of absorbers to dehumidify the air.

Alternatively you could leave it with car storage specialist. That way the car can be looked after properly. Here is a list of companies in the UK with their location and website addresses:

That's my website BTW and although I'm a bit far away I can offer you free transport for long term storage.
