I need to book my ferry crossings etc - I'm hoping to go Weds-Sun, what days are you all going?

Crossings requested are Thursday early morning returning Monday late

Details on times are unknown, its being arranged by a travel agent

What's the range on those? Do they rely on 'line of sight'?

It says upto 10Km (unobstructed or line of sight) and in comparison with other product specs this is high. Most other comparable specs quote 3-8 Km depending on model and basically how much you spend. I havent tested this much. They didnt communicate from inside my house to a point in town about 2 miles away. Its fair to say that all radios have better range unobstructed. These do have lots of channels 132 and caller Id group call etc and VOX which is handy for the head sets totaly hands free. They dont have built in FM radios which would have been a bonus at LeMans for radio Lemans.

looking forward to testing out Scott's HD hero camera in convoy - we did a burham run with it in his car and the quality and sound is very impressive!
