Anyone going to the big PH meet? http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

It's on our home turf wink

I went last year, good event - lots of familiar faces etc, and a BBQ in the cold - what else could you want?

Its a pleasure mate, we did it last year & it worked well. I was the silly sod with the tiny stick on santa hat & was arranging cars in the rear car park, we got away with it by the skin of out teeth.

The landlord Terry (aka Pied Piper) is one of my best mates & its a pleasure to be a part of the event, I understand we have a little more space this year, or we could all be in trouble!

Hope to see you there, please come & say hello.

Added my name to the main listing smile Dependent on ice/snow could be a good outing.

I'm in Canterbury, not exactly that close to the M25.

I have tried and tried, but it would be due to me not having a car and not being close enough to where most of the Ph'ers I may have to say no to the event.

Why not try on the main thread?

I'm sure there will be someone to pick you up. Not everyone reads the local forum.

Shall we start a convoy.. either from Halfway House on A127 or Thurrock Services, the latter could be busy with Lakeside shoppers

1) Alex L - Exige (weather permitting)

Alex ,I could meet you in the layby just after your turn onto the main road? if you know where they sell the plants in the summer.
And likewise with me weather permitting.
If thats ok,what sort of time was you thinking 8.30 - 9.00 ?

Bob, sorry not a clue, you talking about opposite the Chelmer Tavern in Chelmer Village?

If so 8:45 as a compromise?
