Tried this is speed, plod and law but fell on deaf ears.

Up until recently there were signs up saying "Cameras Not Active" and everyone just continued at 70mph on the 5 lane, perfectly smooth, uncongested 50 mph zoned motorway, but let's just say that yesterday one car was conspicuous by its speed (70 mph ish) against a backdrop of cars all doing 50 mph.

I don't recall seeing the signs at the start of the camera zone, either.

Anyone know if the cameras are now active?

They weren't last time I went over but that was a week & a half ago so maybe they are now. Think that it was only a matter of time anyway.

Suspect the tunnel will be next scratchchin better sort my exhaust out before that happens...

I know the cameras are on, 'monitoring', as I know someone in Connect+ (the company that runs the M25 now) has data from them showing how bad the compliance is at the moment (I think they want 'before' and 'after' data for speed as well as collisions).
I'm sure all the signs will be uncovered before they actually start issuing tickets (though I'm not risking it)!

Cool car in your profile mate. Sure I've seen that recently somewhere.
