It's a hugely popular meeting and finishes with a fireworks display.

Take a look at the entry list below - entrants from the Europe, stacks of Jags, Hearses, Rolls Royces, Streched Limo's, Yanks and one or two Rover P5's
If you are a lover of classic cars don't look at this list you may have a Daily Mail moment (something should be done about this etc etc) and frankly if these cars were worth saving, someone would have.

Note that the meeting starts at 1pm but the website advises getting there at least 1.5 hours before that time - (I'm going to struggle to get there that early). Anyone been to the Firecracker before who can confirm the problems?

Apparently the queues for Tickets can get very long - hence the advice to get there early.
But the gates open at 9am - so I'm planning on shooting down there early to get my tickets.
Parking shouldn't be too much of a problem.
