A12 SPECS cameras Hatfield Peverel Northbound

I passed these this morning on the opposite carriageway.

I drive the A12 most days and hadn't noticed them before.

My eyesight must be becoming intermittent.

Just south of the Hatfield Peverel off-slip, Northbound.

Does anyone know anything about them?

Are they pre-empting some carriageway improvements or a speed-reducing safety initiative?

Looks like this is what's going on.

So an extra short lane and resurfacing southbound and just resurfacing northbound. Shame they can't seem to do anything about the crappy entry slip road from Hatfield going northbound

it's a 50 Limit.... I wish it was THAT fast! I've been a few minutes late a lot since these were installed as it seems that some people cant go more than 10mph, stop start all the way... JUST GO 50MPH!

No matter what time I leave I'm really struggling to get in on time. The A12 has been a nightmare for the last few weeks and impossible to forsee.

My theory is that they dig roads up as a cover so they can put up some average revenue catchers to pay for the 15% vat lol
