Managed to chip the edge of our glass dining table.Anyone got a recommendation for someone to repair, maybe around the Chelmsford area?

look for a glass welding company, also look for glass repair companies sometimes used in the car industry they might be able to help

My son chipped our dining table. I rang around a few glass merchants and got a price which was about the same as buying another one from Habitat where we bought it. In the end we decided not to bother as the damage was only slight and 2 years later it's still OK.

Why not just try ringing a local glass merchant? When I tried they'd all quote me, but some were a lot (50%!) more than others.
