As above, we are holding an open Fun day at Broomfield Hospital Chelmsford Essex,on Saturday Sept 5th ,this is to celebrate the new Hospital being built there.

It has been arranged for a display of interesting cars to be showcased there on that day from 11.30 onwards, its purely a static display of cars, and you can leave when you wish, this is open to anybody who would like to attend.

There are lots of other things to look at, do, and take part in,including but not limited to, Woodland Walks, quite a few sideshows, trips around the new hospital building, and so on.

So if you fancy a morning/afternoon/or whole day out, you are welcome to show off your pride and joy,no charges are made, and refreshment/food available during your visit.I am in the process of getting passes for refreshments/food,which will be handed out on the day upon arrival,we should also be showcased in front of Broomfield Court,a 19th century house within the grounds.

Thanks in advance for any interest,as it would be greatly appreciated

I have posted this on behalf of Rob who is organising this. There was a great variety of superb cars at the last Essex PH meet. It would be great if you could bring those cars to chelmsford for a few hours. Please post up if you can attend or have any questions.

Ken

Hi Ken, i'm up for this and will bring the GTO.

As Broomfield is next to our HQ (Ambulance headquarters and control room), do you know if they are involved, there's always a few spare ambulance's and/or response cars at HQ, i can try to get one of them on the display, or is it just for sportcars ?

I think a response car presumably with all the gear would be excellent. You could flash the lights and blast the sirens biggrinbiggrin

Broomfield Hospital is 30 seconds from my front door, so I guess I'll have to come and say hello biggrin Alas I don't have a fancy car to show off… just a bike biggrin

For those who dont know Andy's moder classic is Rover 416 and it's probably more likely to survive a round trip to chelmsford than his "Italian red thing" (stands back awaiting eloquent lengthy response from Andywhistle)

Edited to add its only a 4000 mile round trip mate.... come on no excuses rolleyes
