Can't make this Sunday. Already committed to a recce for an upcoming MR2 club run.
You won't get me going anywhere near the Lydd to Camber road now. We used it on our last MR2 run at the end of June.
Big mistake. Masses of loose stone chippings from the resurfacing restricted us to 35mph max.
Even despite such a slow pace we got peppered by cars coming the other way and the front of my car now needs a respray!!

The Camber road is not too bad now - did it twice last Saturday morning and whilst there are still some stones, they are pretty much in the gutter leaving a good grippy surface.

Red Devil - any other recommended roads, you seem to know the area like the back of your hand!

Sadly not me, working a 12 hour shift tomorrow. frown

How are you fixed for the following weekend, Darren? Red Devil appears to be free then. Sunday the 2nd August would be best for me (got a pub crawl pencilled in for Friday the 31st July).

Will have another look at Camber later today.

Roads. Well, being the Kent Run organiser for the MR2OC, I've had lots of practice!
I'll e-mail you a list of some of my favourites.

I'm guessing this weekend won't be happening as the majority of people are away/doing something else.
