yes

I've seen a couple of un-marked police bikes and some un-marked police cars.

Are you sure it was a Honda....

Just out of asking what features make it stand out, also what type of bike is it, I've heard of them using Honda fireblades before.

Obviously the Ol Bill aint got nothing better to do with our(taxpayers) money than to have fun on unmarked vehicles, there all over the show in Essex, but they cant seem to find time to stop these yobs terrorising people to the point where they committ suicide,as in the news very recently.
To be honest,I aint got no time for them,or respect either.

Yes as dangerous driving and riding doesn't kill anybody oh wait thousands died last year in completely avoidable crashes.

As for the incident you refer to, I think you will find that a number of arrests were made over time and people faced sanction. However like many problems these days the punishments don't fit the crime. Failings were made I am sure but then getting it right every single time is not always possible. I personaly will wait to see what the IPCC enquiry says should have been done that wasn't.

I have lots better to do but normal taxpayers keep smashing into each other all the time and killing and seriously injuring each other. If you all stop doing that then all resources could be used elsewhere. They also keep driving on the public roads as if they are personal race tracks. If people were sensible with their speed and drove responsibly all be it progressively then we would not have the problems, unfortunately far too many get sucked into other peoples driving and compete on the roads or drive in an aggressive manner. Un-marked vehicle catch these bad drivers out.

Un-marked vehicles are also used to target criminality.

For the record the police also pay tax and are taxpayers.

I wasn't sure if it had any aerils or visable additions apart from the blue lights.

One thing I don't quite understand is how the unmarked bikes stop you (or do they just collect evidence then get a marked unit to do the pull?) As legally you only have to stop for an officer in uniform regardless of what lights are flashing and if a motorcyclist is "in uniform" then he's hardly unmarked is he?

They use marked bikes to stop you. The un-marked bike officer will have some items of uniform on and will only normaly intervene if it becomes dangerous.

They target high end speed or careless/dangerous biking.

clap Unmarked vehicles will always have a better chance of catching the various and plentiful arrogant, retarded cock-jockeys who habitually make driving in Essex mostly unpleasant and occasionally really bloody dangerous for the rest of us - but who always sudenly start behaving themselves whenever there's a marked car on the road.

Bring 'em on - get a valid license, tax, insure and mot your car, don't drive like a complete Twunt and where's the problem?

...agree, but also wish they'd talk to the various and plentiful arrogant, retarded cock-jockeys who habitually make driving in Essex mostly unpleasant and occasionally really bloody dangerous for the rest of us by poodling along at a steady 40mph regardless of 30,40 and NSL limits, and accelerating when passing opportunities arise as these other "dangerous" drivers should not be allowed to make progress... whistle

Indeedy - but that's a whole other issue 'tho is it not? The 40 MPH morons are the sort of scantimionious tts who - because they are driving technically within the law - would scream Police victimisation in The Daily Wail if they were stopped and spoken too. You can just hear - why don't you go and catch some bloody criminals officer - can't you? Dispite the fact they may be a catalyist for an serious accident when an overtake goes wrong or they nudge somebody into a dangerous situation

I've had overtakes deliberately blocked and been stuck behind (usually a dawdling desiel as the selfish tit driving tries to stretch another mile or so out of each tankfull) more times than I can really remember.

This will not do either. tank
